This product is said to be the solution for hairlines, a 'no burn styling' tool. If like us you have memories as a little girl bracing yourself for the searing hot comb and the results if it were to slip, you'll appreciate the phrase 'no burn style'.

The Edgestick is a salon-grade styling tool that allows users to straighten their edges and roots, even gently touch the skin without burning it. It has a unique double comb design that protects the skin from the heated center ceramic rod; because the combs are not the heat source unlike the pressing comb it allows the user to really get up closer to the skin and hairline for smoother hair.

There is a digital display that allows you to view the heat setting of The Edgestick. The temperature ranges from 100°c going up to as high as 225°c and goes up 5°c at a time.

We came across this little device at the Afro Hair and Beauty Show and were impressed by the demo being given, and get this, they can be purchased with Swarovski crystals custom made to suit you!

Prices range from $79.99/£51.09 for an Edgestick in black, white or hot pink to $260/£173.00 for the limited edition in Swarovski crystals.

The Edgestick can be used on relaxed, pressed and natural hair and safe for colour treated hair. We are delighted to have come across such a product that is user friendly with capabilities of reaching those otherwise hard to reach areas! This item is most certainly on our wish list, when we get it, expect another review!
