@Bellahairbeauty attended the Afro Hair Beauty Show on the Monday at the Business Design Centre, Islington, here is a quick scoop/round up/finds at the event!
@Bellahairbeauty arrived in the afternoon to a busy venue with many stalls and stands loaded with everything hair and beauty!
Having began walking around we landed at Ugo's boutique. Ugo boutique is a London based accessories label, offering "the very first of it's kind; oil cloth bags using traditional African fabrics". As soon as as we came across this brand we were in love with the afro pop accessories!

Other items we fell in love with instantly were African print scarves and jewellery we spotted on attendees at Afro Hair Beauty show by the Chalk house as well as accessories Rya-V had to offer. The Chalk House is a UK accessories brand brought to you by two London based designers; Malaika and Hazel, offering unique jewellery pieces. Check out their current pieces on offer here: http://thechalkhouse.com
The lovely Sade's Hair was present with her products. Ranging from virgin hair to basket ball inspired style earrings.

We were also impressed by the company Edgesticks and their live demonstration, an easy to use tool that took frizzy hair to uber straight in a matter of seconds.

In keeping with the natural hair and hair care Dominican Hair alliance, and Natural Hair parlour as well as others were present offering products "that nourish your hair and assist in hair growth".
We were especially impressed with Mmm...hair. The mother and daughter duo had us sold on the presentation of their stall alone..and then we smelt the products. Mmm! We hope to test out their products on offer for a future review.
Real life examples on the day proving that going natural with a diligent hair care routine can yield fantastic results were Diane Hall @IGrewItLong Author of "How I Grew It Long" and Julie Oli author of "Work With It! My Hair Growth Story: Simple steps towards growing Healthy Afro Hair" giving tips and advise and passing on their knowledge, experiences and results in their books.

We managed to get our hands on Diane Hall's "How I Grew It Long" look out for our quick review on the book in a future post.
It was great to meet team members behind the brand EternallyU; a company offering retro watches in different styles and colours, their forward progress in a short space of time #inspiring.
On the main stage were live fashion shows as well as hair shows. We were delighted to see BNTM Jessica and our girl Miss Sandra doing their thing!
The creativity was outstanding.
So there you have it a quick scoop on the day, overall it was a great day out filled with lots of freebies, although timing meant that we missed some of the sample treats on offer, such as the delightful looking cupcakes from slice of couture! Seeing peers making positive movements in their business ventures was equally inspiring.
